The Bolton Wanderers in the Community Away Day Cycle is back on Saturday 21st March 2026, this time from the Toughsheet Community Stadium to Vale Park ahead of Bolton Wanderers fixture away to Port Vale.
Starting from the home of Bolton Wanderers, we’ll be pedalling all the way to Port Vale, raising funds and awareness for the football club's official charity, Bolton Wanderers in the Community.
Whether you’re a regular cyclist or just up for a challenge, this event is open to all who want to support and make an impact.
Date: Saturday 21 March 2026
Distance: Approx 55 miles
Start: Bolton Wanderers Football Club (Toughsheet Community Stadium)
Finish: Port Vale Football Club (Vale Park)
Entry into the Away Day Cycle is £25 plus a £250 fundraising pledge. Included in your ticket price:
- Bolton Wanderers in the Community cycle top
- A guaranteed ticket to Port Vale vs. BWFC match on 21st March
- Support vehicle and experienced cycle leaders from Sky Blue Adventures
- Light refreshments at stops
- Return transport from Port Vale to the Toughsheet Community Stadium
Itinerary:
- 07:30 Registration and check-in
- 08:00 Safety briefing
- 08:30 Ride start
- 09:30 Morning rest stop (approx. 20 miles)
- 10:45 Food and drink stop (approx. 30 miles)
- 11:15 Resume ride (approx. 22 miles to go)
- 13:15 Finish at Port Vale FC (Vale Park)
- 13:30 Finish line celebration
- 14:30 Event wrap-up – time to make your way to the stands and get ready for kick-off
